Jay Van Hoy

Jay Van Hoy, a highly acclaimed and award-winning producer, boasts an impressive filmography of over 30 films. In 2004, he co-founded Parts & Labor, a production company that has become instrumental in his successful journey. Among his notable works are the Sundance-award-winning box-office hit THE WITCH (2015), directed by Robert Eggers, and its Oscar-nominated follow-up THE LIGHTHOUSE (2019). Additionally, he played a key role in producing the Cannes-award-winning AMERICAN HONEY (2016), directed by Andrea Arnold. His portfolio includes a diverse range of titles, such as Alan Ball's UNCLE FRANK (2020), Mike Mills' Oscar-winning film BEGINNERS (2010), David Lowery's AIN'T THEM BODIES SAINTS (2013), and Ira Sachs' LOVE IS STRANGE (2014). Notably, Jay Van Hoy is actively involved in nurturing emerging talent and supporting the filmmaking community. He serves as a long-time advisor at the Sundance Institute Creative Producing Lab, participates in the creation of the Catalyst program at Sundance, and mentors aspiring filmmakers through the Cinetrust mentorship program at Cinereach.

Dana Linssen

Dana Linssen (Talent Press) is a long-term film critic for the Dutch daily newspaper NRC Handelsblad. Currently, she is a quartermaster for Film Forward, a new talent and skills development organisation for film and audio-visual creators in the Netherlands. With Jan Pieter Ekker, she programs the Critics’ Choice section of the International Film Festival Rotterdam. Linssen founded the Slow Criticism Project, a counterbalance against the commodification of film criticism, and teaches at ArtEZ Theatre Academy in Arnhem and the HKU University of the Arts in Utrecht.
